To register, you will need to create your own account. The process for this starts with going to the main page of mcdougallauction.com. In the upper left hand corner click 'Create Account.'
Fill out the required information:
- Account Type (Personal or Business)
- User ID (This will be the name that is publicly displayed on items that you bid on. Please do not use your email or any personally identifying information or you may be blocked or contacted to change your user name.)
- Password
- Security question & answer (The secret question will be used in the event that you forget your password. The secret question can be chosen from the dropdown menu. The answer does not have to be personally identifiable to you but has to be memorable/attainable in the event that you lose or forget your password.)
- Your main email ( You will receive invoices and outbid notifications to this address. )
- Contact information
- To ensure all bidders are real, verifiable human beings, we require Name, Address, a Primary Phone Number, and Driver's License Number to limit users to only one account. This helps prevent fraudulent bidding that would destroy the integrity of our auctions. This information is securely stored and not shared with any 3rd party data brokers.
